The UKSAC is a free clinic run by medical students in Lexington, Kentucky. Our mission statement is to assume a leadership role in improving the health and well-being of the under-served population in Lexington by providing free medical services, increasing awareness of local health care issues, and providing a setting for student community service and early clinical exposure.

At APhA 2008 in San Diego, Joey Mattingly was elected APhA Speaker of the House and Mykel Tidwell was 1st runner up in the Patient Counseling Competition. Great job guys!

Heartburn Awareness, Committees, Events No Comments »
Beginning tomorrow during lunch you will have the opportunity to pre-register yourself, friends, and family for the Race Against Reflux 5K Run/Walk.
We will be in the lobby with race forms every day this week. Registration fees are $10 for all students and $15 for others. This fee includes your race t-shirt.
This week will not be the only time you are allowed to sign up, we are just offering this period to you guys to secure your spots and t-shirts in correct sizes!
If you are planning on volunteering for the race, this week is also the time to sign up. We will be offering $1 volunteer t-shirts, so come sign up and let us know what size you’d like.
As always, there is a little competition involved. Whichever class has the most volunteers and runners will win a Krispy Kreme breakfast!!!
Thanks!
Katie Ruf & Courtney Sutton
Co-chairs of the Heartburn Awareness Committee
